This year, the Qingming long weekend will last for 4 days from April 4 to April 7. During this period, the authorized vehicle inspection companies will suspend vehicle inspection services, and will resume on April 8, the first working day after the period. 

Kaohsiung City Motor Vehicles Office noticed that the owners of vehicles should apply for periodic inspection within one month before and after the specified inspection date on their vehicle registrations (the owners of commercial large passenger vehicles and high-pressure tank trucks that were manufactured for more than 10 years should apply for periodic inspection within one month before the specified inspection date) by presenting vehicle registration, new license plate registration form (not applicable to small vehicles and large heavy motorcycles), and compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate (with validity more than 30 days). If the last day of the inspection period falls within the Qingming period, it may be postponed to the first working day after the period. Please follow the periodic inspection date on the vehicle registration, and take the vehicles to Motor Vehicles Office or the authorized vehicle inspection companies nearby for periodic inspection to avoid penalty.
