Documents should be prepared:

1. The identity certificate of the vehicle owner:
   • Registration in the name of an individual: the original national ID card (or military ID card or residence permit for foreigners).
   • Registration in the name of the company and bank number: the official document (including the registration form for the company) approved by the company and bank number authority for registration or the registration certificate issued by the company and bank number authority, and the uniform number assigned by the financial and taxation authority should be provided . If the registration is in the name of the liaison office, office or correspondence office of the company or bank number, in addition to the certificate of the head office and bank number, a uniform number assigned by the financial and taxation authority of the head office and bank number shall also be provided. However, if the certification documents submitted for inspection are photocopies, the company and the company number must also submit a photocopy of the most recent business tax payment certification documents.
   • Registration in the name of an agency, school or group: official certification documents of the agency, school or group, and a uniform number assigned by the financial and taxation agency.
   • Register in the name of the person performing the business: a photocopy of the identity card of the person in charge of the business execution and a certificate issued by the practice certificate or a certificate issued by the association, and a unified number allocation notice shall be submitted.
2. Seal.
3. Compulsory auto liability insurance insurance certificate.
4. Pay (remark, revoke) the owner's copy of the cancellation or suspension registration.
5. The owner's copy of the new license registration certificate of the original automobile (motorcycle).

Fees:

1. Temporary license: NT$150, license: NT$200 for cars, NT$150 for motorcycles.
2. Pay the license tax according to the number of application days and vehicle type:

   Motorcycle...........................5 yuan

   Small passenger car………………41 yuan

   Coach………………23 yuan

   Truck..................22 yuan

   Towing car………………28 yuan

3. Daily amount of fuel usage fee (rate schedule).

Matters needing attention:

1. Vehicles with temporary license plates are not allowed to carry passengers and goods for a fee.
2. The temporary license shall not be used after the expiration of the validity period and shall be returned to the supervisory authority. If it is returned 3 days after the deadline, a fine of NT$900 will be imposed.
